When your bifold doors, particularly the lower portions, begin to show signs of shrinkage it is time to look at a replacement. Shrinkage is mostly caused by water and snow, which start to erode the material of the door. If you can see the light entering through the gap of the panel and the floor, this is a sign that shrinkage has occurred.
